The Heliobiology App
Finally — an explanation for the days that don't add up.
You sleep great and feel terrible. You eat the same, train the same, sleep the same — and the day is still off. The fourth pillar of health has been moving you the whole time. The Heliobios app shows you how.
14-day free trial · No card required · Your raw biometrics never leave your phone
Heliobios reads securely through the Apple Health app on iPhone to support Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, and any other HealthKit-connected device — and connects directly to Oura. Your biometrics never leave your phone.

The sky, right now.
This is the current Solar Load Level — the same signal Heliobios runs against your biometrics.
See how this moves your body — 14-day free trialYou've felt this before. You just didn't have a word for it.
- The mornings you sleep eight clean hours and wake up wrecked.
- The week you trained well, ate well, slept well — and still couldn't focus.
- The string of days when your HRV craters and nothing in your routine explains it.
- The migraine that landed on schedule with the aurora forecast.
The fourth pillar — what's happening in the sky above you — has been moving your body the whole time. Heliobios names it, measures it, and turns it into something you can plan around.
The fourth pillar of health is the one nobody's been measuring.

Heliobios
Around 400 BCE, Hippocrates and the Greek physicians identified four pillars that kept the body in balance: sleep, diet, activity, and environment. For most of medical history, environment meant climate, air, season, weather, and the sky.
Then the industrial era narrowed "environment" to the room you're in. Temperature, humidity, air quality. The bigger forces — geomagnetic activity, solar wind, cosmic rays — fell out of clinical vocabulary because nobody had the instruments to measure them at useful resolution.
We do now. Public scientific feeds track geomagnetic activity minute by minute and solar wind every five. Over 500 peer-reviewed studies have linked these variables to human physiology — heart rate variability, sleep architecture, reaction time, mood, cardiovascular rhythms.
The fourth pillar never stopped affecting you. Medicine just stopped looking at it.
Heliobios is what happens when you put the fourth pillar back.
Everyone responds to the environment.
Heliobios shows you how you do.
Nobody argues that temperature affects the human body. A 95°F day doesn't affect everyone equally, but it affects everyone. Space weather works the same way: the effect is universal, the expression is individual.
Your Personal Sensitivity Profile names which space weather conditions move which parts of your body, how strongly, and at what lag. It's built from your own data, run against real-time public space weather conditions, so the patterns surfaced are signal, not coincidence.
Two people in the same city with the same wearable will build materially different profiles. One might show a strong 48-hour HRV drop during solar wind disturbances. Another might show mood and sleep latency shifts tied to Kp spikes. A third might show modest effects spread across several scores. All three are real. None of them match the population average. That's the whole point — the average tells you about averages. Your Profile tells you about you.

The Library
Heliobiology, in plain language.
19 long-form articles on heliobiology, space weather, and human physiology. Every claim in the Heliobios app library is sourced to peer-reviewed research — the replication problem, the modern evidence, the practical playbook, all of it, written for non-specialists.

Is this real science or pseudoscience?
Real science. Heliobiology is a peer-reviewed field with over 500 published papers, founded by Alexander Chizhevsky in the early 20th century and now studied at institutions including Harvard, the University of Minnesota, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and the Russian Academy of Sciences. The effect is real and measurable. Effect size varies by individual — which is exactly why a personal tool like Heliobios is useful.
Does space weather affect everyone?
Yes. The same way temperature affects everyone — universally, but unevenly. A 95°F day doesn't affect everyone the same way, but it affects every body. Space weather works the same. The question isn't whether the fourth pillar moves your body. It's how much, in which systems, and on what lag. Heliobios answers that in 14 days.
Do I need an Oura or Apple Watch?
No, but a wearable gives you sharper correlations faster. Heliobios works with Apple Watch directly, Oura directly, and any other device that syncs to Apple Health (Garmin, Fitbit, etc.). Manual logging works too — it just needs more days to converge.
What about Android?
We're launching on iPhone first, where the health-data privacy architecture is tightest. Android is in active development for 2026. Web access via cloud.heliobios.com is available on any device once you have an account.
Is my data private?
Yes, by architecture. Your raw biometrics never leave your iPhone — we can't see them even if we wanted to. Only the derived wellness summaries sync to our servers, encrypted. You own your data, can export it anytime, and can delete everything we store within 30 days of request.
Is this a medical device?
No. Heliobios is a wellness and educational tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or predict any disease or condition. It is not a substitute for medical care. Its job is pattern detection — showing you whether statistical correlations exist between your biometrics and space weather. If you have a medical concern, see your doctor.
How much does it cost, and how do I cancel?
$12.99/month or $99/year after the 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. Cancel anytime from your iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Heliobios → Cancel. No retention friction, no dark patterns.
