The story (short version)
Heliobiology — the study of how solar activity, geomagnetic fields, and cosmic rays interact with living systems — is a century-old scientific field with a substantial peer-reviewed literature. The cardiovascular evidence is settled science (recent meta-analyses confirm myocardial infarction risk rises 1.3–1.5× during geomagnetic storms and stroke risk rises 1.25–1.6×). Modern continuous-wearable data extends the picture to day-to-day physiology in sensitive individuals.
The Heliobios app pairs your wearable biometric history (HRV, sleep, resting heart rate, others) with live space-weather data and uses per-user statistical analysis with proper safeguards to surface which space-weather drivers your body actually responds to.
It's the only dedicated heliobiology app in the App Store. Other apps in the adjacent "solar storm" category are space-weather dashboards or aurora-hunting tools — different problem, different users.
