Delete Your Account
Per Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v), every app with account creation offers an in-app way to delete the account.
In the Heliobios app (recommended)
- Open the Heliobios app on your iPhone.
- Tap the menu icon (top-left), then Settings.
- Scroll to Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account, all server-side data, and all on-device data are wiped within seconds.
Server-side data is permanently removed within 30 days. We retain only a one-way hash of the deleted user identifier for up to 12 months for fraud-prevention and audit purposes (per the Privacy Policy, section 5).
If you no longer have the app installed
Email privacy@heliobios.com from the address associated with your account. Include:
- The email address linked to your Heliobios account
- The phrase "Please delete my Heliobios account"
We respond to data-subject requests within 30 days as required by GDPR / CCPA. Once verified, your account and data are deleted on the same timeline as the in-app flow.
What gets deleted
- Your Heliobios account (Apple Sign-In or email/password identity)
- All server-stored derived scores, sensitivity profile, daily logs, notification preferences, device tokens
- All on-device cached data (SwiftData store, Keychain credentials)
- Any active subscription is NOT canceled automatically — manage subscriptions via iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions
What we keep
- A one-way hash of your deleted user identifier (12 months max) for fraud prevention
- Anonymized aggregate research data (bucketed, k-anonymized) that cannot be reverse-linked to you
